I rarely write reviews, but this app has made such a huge impact on my life. I know that there are many others that could benefit from it.
Several times "Depression" has pulled me out of a very dark place, just after a few days of listening to it and I already take two anti-depressants. "Heal Your Body" and "Procrastination" have also been effective for me. My kids sometimes ask for "The talking man" ("Children Confidence"), when they go to bed at night. I highly suggest this one to parents that are going through a divorce and their kiddos need some extra encouragement.
I would like to request that there be a way we could suggest useful topics for sessions and/or we could vote/like/bump on a selection of topics that we would love to have added next.
I, personally, am searching for something to help me with being on time. I really struggle with this and get into trouble at work and upset my friends. Fortunately, I am good at what I do and am very passionate about it, so I am hoping my job is safe for now. Many people dont understand why I cant just get to work earlier and think I just dont care, when really I am very ashamed of the fact. I have pretty severe ADD ("ADHD" session had adverse effects since I am not hyper). I always think I have more time than I do, everything takes longer than I expect it to and I am distracted by even the smallest things along the way.
I also would greatly benefit from a session on waking up early in the morning. I have been always been a night owl, but my life as a single mom of two young children and a teacher does not work well with late nights. I have been trying to do Hal Elrods Miracle Morning for a year now and it makes a big difference in my life when I do it. But I struggle with myself, mentally, to get out of bed early, even though I know I will be so much happier.
I think many kids could also benefit from a session on bedwetting. My son is six and is so embarrassed that he still has to wear pull ups. He just cant wake himself up from his deep sleep to go to the bathroom at night. I know there are a lot of kids out there that struggle with the same thing.
Lastly, I want to thank Joseph Clough for making his work so easily accessible and such a variety. I am sure some people think the app costs way too much. However, great progress can be made in only a few days and no extra time since you can go to sleep with the app. Whereas therapy would take months to accomplish the same progress, time to meet with the therapist and a lot more money. Thats only if you find the right therapist for you though. This app cost less than one therapy session, so Id say its definitely worth a try!
